Yes. The free plan gives you 1 active group of up to 5 people, with live map, chat, voice notes, photos and lesson mode. Paid plans are only for bigger or longer-lived groups.
Whoever creates the group gets a 6-character code and an invite link. Type the code in the app (or tap the link) and you're in. No friend requests, no public profiles.
At expiry the group is destroyed: locations, messages, voice notes, photos and music tracks are deleted from our servers. That's the core of grply's design.
Instructors may only upload music they own or hold licenses for (e.g. collecting-society licenses in their country). Tracks stay private to the group, can't be downloaded, and are deleted when the lesson ends.
No: location is shared only inside groups with the map enabled, and you can pause it anytime with ghost mode. Outside your groups nobody sees you.
